Last week when we looked at some photos on the internet Aden asked how the photos got there so quickly. So today we looked at how you get photos on our blog.
We took some photos of our Star Circle and saw how you take the card out of the camera and use a card reader to load the photos onto the computer. We saw how easy it is to upload the photos onto the blog. You 'browse' the photos in the computer and select what you want. Browse means to look through - just like we do with our browsing boxes of reading books.
As we browsed through the photos we decided to select them all so here they are.
The focus of Star Circle is Participating and Contributing. It is a safe place to share and we listen respectfully to all the speakers. But when someone shares something during star circle we don't comment or laugh because we are learning that the words we say affect the way others feel.
Today we all said "If I was an animal, I would be..." We had a huge variety of animals. Horses, rabbits, kangaroos, wasps, a zebra and many others. Then some of us chose to share why we would be that animal. We did a fantastic job of clearly explaining our choices.

Kerrianne is listening to Cairo share. |

Josiah shares his reason for choosing his particular animal. |
|
Destiny and Arleyah listen to Mina share her reason. |
|
Tigue thought very carefully about his reason before he shared it. |

We also shared some of the many extremely cool things about our new Star of the Week, Cairo. Come and check out the poster in the window of Room 2.
To finish today, we played another game of throw the jelly. It's raspberry jelly and it's sticky and wobbly and goes everywhere! Well actually, we're just very good at miming as we pretend to throw jelly at each other. Urrrrrggggghhh!

Luke throws jelly right across the circle! |
|
Zoe has just scraped the jelly off her face and is wondering who to throw it at. I think Stefan is wondering too! |
|
Kerrianne threw the jelly at her neighbour and is laughing very hard about it! |

Watch out for jelly next time you visit Room 2.
